25/05/2009 The main event was great, the weather was excellent and the track was really perfect. A lot of teams managed to run a Personal Best as did Danny Bellio with a 5.794s and a top speed of 253.5 MPH. This is a new European record which we sadly enough couldn't back-up. Bad luck for Robert Joosten who made a crash with his Corvette Pro Mod, he lost traction at half track just before he was going straight into the wall he managed to turn away from it, but then the car went up on his roof. Robert managed to pull the chutes which prevented the car from going over the wall. Robert was OK but the body is severally damaged.
Congratulations to all the finalists and hopefully the weather will be like this at the following events .
1/05/2009 At Mirecourt in France there was a demonstration of Danny's Funny Car and Sandro's Belair. The weather was great and a lot of people showed up during the demonstrations and races. Danny mainly wanted to test his chutes, because he had some problems with it at Easter. The Firestorm team helped us with some of their pilots and it seems that these work fine,...so many thanks to them.
13/04/2009 Easter at Santa Pod was very wet again, on Sunday the track crew managed to get the track dry and ready to race. Danny Bellio qualified as fourth and had to line up against a TMD in eliminations, he run a 5.88 but lost against a 5.66. Not bad for Danny and promising for the rest of the season. Let's hope the weather will be better at the Main Event.
8/09/2008 What a way to end the racing season, at the European Finals in Santa Pod we got a bit of everything. First of all, lot's of rain poring down on us. From Thursday on until Saturday rain came down, whole weekend the track crew tried to get the track race ready, but without any luck, on Saturday the even started spraying the track twice, ready to rumble but then at that very moment rain came down again. Race direction decided to do one qualifying run on Sunday and then try to finish eliminations late Sunday. Lot's of teams started to get worried because of the possibility of not qualifying in just one round, anything could happen........Sunday noon they could get the track dry, and started with the first qualifying round, for us it went perfect Danny Bellio became second qualifier. In the first eliminations we had to race against Ulf Leanders, we managed to beat him on the line with only 0.09 sec difference. At second eliminations Jarmo Kuutniemie dit not managed to get the car started. So we where in for a bye run, Danny managed to run a new personal best with 5.85 sec....great. Then it started to rain again and the race was cancelled.
01/09/2008 We had a short visit to the Drachten Finals, Sandro Bellio was going for his License with his newly bought Funny Car, a '55 Chevrolet Belair. The car looked great at the track, Sandro easily managed to get his license and with that he also could compete in super pro ET that weekend. He managed to get trough to the semi finals which was great keeping in mind that he just recieved his license on Friday. Danny also put his Funny Car on the track but after hitting a bump in the track and a wild ride he decided not to do any demo runs anymore. Another reason for not taking out the Funny car anymore was that Danny was pretty busy working on Sandro's car after it suffered some clutch damage. We had a great weekend after all, the weather was great and we reached the semi-finals!!
20/08/2008 It's always a little impressive when you enter the track at Hockenheim. The F1 circuit and all the grand stands make it different. The track seemed to be OK but the weather on Friday was very wet. Late afternoon it cleared a bit and they managed to get the track dry. So we still where able to do 1 qualifying run. Danny Bellio's first run of the day and a 5.86 sec. not to bad .......Saturday the weather was nice so we where up for two qualifying runs. Danny's second run 5.87 sec great !!
In the afternoon the sun came up and the track was getting pretty warm. Last two runs Danny had two massive tire shakes, which ended our weekend .
01/08/2008 Veidec festival at Mantorp Park Sweden was a bit different. Never it has been this hot, 30 °C whole weekend long, most of the teams where struggling with the track. But once they found the perfect tune up, pretty good times where set, even with the bumpy track. Most cars and bikes needed a little bit more then 400m to get to the end of the track because they where just going from left to right in an attempt to get to the finish line. Party time also for the two Dutch teams in pro mod, they both got into the finals, Meihuizen against Joosten, Joosten did win that final. We really had a nice weekend just a little to warm my point of view but we are already looking forward to next year, hopefully same amount of sun, just a little cooler.

Last weekend we were at the
Fhra Nitro Nationals in Alastaro Finland. For us it was the first time in
Alastaro, The weather was great during the weekend and we saw a lot of close
races . The track looks really nice and it's also a nice trip from Helsinki
to Alastaro. A good thing though that we carried out GPS with us because the
road sign were a bit difficult to read, try to read this while passing by
?????
Anyway, our first visit to Alastaro was very nice and hopefully we will be back next year bringing you more pics from the place were the day's are very long or actually the sun never goes down.
22/06/2008 Went to have a look on Sunday to the Drachten Nationals, and the testing of Danny Bellio with his Top methanol Funny car. The weather was great but in the afternoon strong winds came up. Took down some of the screens put around the starting area.
The renewed track looks great, lot's of teams where present as well. Go and have a look at the pictures we took, mainly about Danny Bellio's Funny Car but it might give you some impression of Drachten's new track.
28/05/2008 Santa Pod Main Event was one we will not forget easily. It was not longer
'The Main Event' but we like to call it now 'The Rain Event'. Storms, very strong wind and loads of rain . (didn't we had about the same weather last year?) Anyway, on Saturday we could see some of the qualifying sessions, but then on Sunday and Monday the rain started to fall and on Monday afternoon they cancelled the event. We could only take a few pictures have a look and enjoy.
11/05/2008 Season has started again for 2008! Hopefully we will bring you some great pictures from the 2008 season, we are planning to attend many events this year, Santa Pod main event and the Finals, Alastaro Finland, Mantorp Park Sweden, Hockenheim. So we have many things to look out for.
We started the season last weekend at the Test and Tune in Luckau Germany, we couldn't complain about the weather because we had like 25°C whole weekend. Have a look at our pics and enjoy...............
15/09/2007 Well summer is almost finished now, we had a great racing year with a thrilling end to the European Championship. Urs Erbacher jumped over Lex Joon with only 2 points difference. We ourselves have seen some great races and our first trip to Mantorp park was great. Enjoy all the pics we have been taken in Santa and Mantorp. See you back at the track next year.!!!!

24/05/2007 Just came back from a very rainy Main Event at Santa Pod, event was rained out on Sunday and Monday so no more eliminations for the Pro racers. It's a pity but still we could shoot a few nice pictures, (have a look at them at our updated and new website) despite the cold fingers we had. Let's hope we will get some better wetter for the next few rounds in the championship.
20/09/2006 We had a great weekend at the European finals in Santa Pod, weather was great lot's of nice races, with a few wonderfull passes From Urs Erbacher, who has won the finals and set a new European record!!!
1/09/2006 Rainy weekend at Hockenheim, saw some nice close races over the weekend but again it started out rainy.
24/08/2006 Santa pod's main event was great except for the weather. We saw a lot of rain during the weekend but also a lot of close races. We saw Urs Erbacher's Top Fuel which looked great but I guess it still needs a lot of tuning to get him into the good numbers.
As usual we had a lot of fun.
So now it's time to go to Hockenheim Nitrolympics. I hope the weather clears up a bit because the forecast at the moment is rain for 4 day's.

15/12/2005 Big news from Eurodragster, we are heading for 16 Top Fuel cars in 2006, which is really a whole lot! Can't wait to get back to the track Asap. We had a nice little After Drag race Party, the beer tasted good and we had quiet some fun.
9/12/2005 Getting more and more hits from the US, that's great, I'm still working on the drag race pages so this is still under construction sorry for that. On the 10th of December we will have our 'After Drag racing Party', for the sponsors and our members who helped us during the Drag race Party! We will hook up a barrel of beer in our favorite pub T'Kroegske. Pictures will be put on the web if they are available. So for the people involved ............be there!!
18/11/2005 Website is online now, and we are getting quiet some hits a day, that's great, ......website is not totally working better now as we had some problem with the picture pages, this should be solved right now so for the ones who has already visited them and found them shitty, have a look right now and if you have any suggestions you can let us know trough our guestbook.
We are all waiting for the new start of the year and still need to wait some months before the European rounds will start again. And again we are glad to hear that Urs Erbacher will be going Top Fuel which will be very interested for the European Championship.
By the way, If you can find it there is a little 'Power and Flames' video somewhere hidden on one of these pages. Enjoy it!!

07/10/2005 Working on the new website is quiet a lot of work so I hope to get this site running by the end of this month, you should be able to find some new photo albums on it, and soon but not at this stage I will put some information on the site concerning history and some technical data, and everything what interesting concerning dragracing. 15/09/2005 Just a short update from the European Finals, Some of us left early Thursday morning to be arriving in Santa Pod around lunch time, as we where looking forward to the European finals, specially because the weather forecast looked great on Wednesday. We set up our equipment sweating like hell in the hot weather,..............what a great weekend ahead for us, Thursday the lower classes came on so we where just enjoying our beers, and introducing some new people to their first races at Santa Pod. Friday morning the weather looked good again and a little after noon the rest of us arrayed at Santa to join us during the weekend. They still could enjoy a little bit of the sun till the early evening, then it started raining during night, not to say whole night long. Anyway waking up in the morning the weather looked a bit worse not to say terrible, the crew at Santa did everything to get the track dry, and finally succeeded in the morning but then the rain came out again. So let's say it kept on raining the whole day long, and we where almost able to take a swim at the pits, some teams where sitting inches deep in the rain with their cars and bikes.!! So Saturday and a Sunday got really rained out. Great respect for the Santa Pod crew who kept on trying to keep the track dry, a few times they almost had it dry and then a few minutes later it started all over again. Finally on Sunday around 3 in the afternoon the where able to get it dry, and people could enjoy some nice races, specially when it started to get dark so flames where thrown at us from the Top Fuel cars, great.!!!!! It has been an amassing European championship this year, with several rain outs and some strange results............. See you next year at the track!!
